About the Artist

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I've always been in love with the thick forests and a good cup of coffee. When I was a kid, I loved gardening with my mom and exploring the forests we lived near. She taught me about plants and how to make my own doll accessories. We didn't have a lot, but we were always creating new things and working on crafts. While I was earning my Bachelor's degrees, my studies focused on different forms of prop making and ethnobotany, two of my most enthusiastic passions. Later, I fully renovated and customized a dollhouse for my extended family that had been built from a kit in the 80s, and it reignited my passion for making tiny things. I started customizing dollhouse scene creating kits and making my own miniatures for things that didn't exist in miniature form. Eventually, there were so many things I wanted to make for myself that I couldn't find easily, that I decided that I wanted to share these things with the world.
