About the Artist

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I've always preferred the thick forests and a good cup of coffee. When I was a kid, I loved gardening with my mom and exploring the forests and trails in the nearby Cascade mountains. She taught me about plants and how to make my own doll accessories. We didn't have a lot, but we were always creating new things and working on crafts.

While I was earning my Bachelor's degrees, my studies focused on different forms of prop making and ethnobotany, two of my most enthusiastic passions. Later, I fully renovated and customized a dollhouse for extended family that had been built from a kit in the 80s, and it reignited my passion for making tiny things. I started customizing dollhouse scene creating kits and making my own miniatures for things that didn't exist in miniature form. Eventually, there were so many things I wanted to make for myself that I couldn't find easily, that I decided that I wanted to share these things with the world.
